About 10 years ago i had a nocti and still miss it. Fortunately found an older shot on an old harddisc with my GH2 and Nocti 1.0…

Really beautiful shot of the amanita. It's easy to see why you miss the lens.

I want it that way. Personal taste.

I guess it's not so much about contrast, but rather black and white point placement. I like this look too, and often make something similar with the curves tool or with custom presets or profiles in LR (it reminds me a lot of some RNI profiles I have).

It's based on a RNI profile - so you have a good eye :)

Testing the combo SL2's IBIS and the Noctilux 75mm...

3 shots, handheld at MFD (I was even possibly less than 0.84m), 1/10s (!) at f/1.25 with manual focus:

#1: focus on nose

#2: focus on eyes

#3: focus in between nose and eyes

(files just opened in Capture One and exported)

Only the sheer quality of the EVF allows that precision! 🙏

Is the cat stuffed or something? My cat would never have sat still for so long. 😄

LOL !

(it was 3 quick shots in a row, just moving forwards/backwards to adjust the focus so quite fast to do actually, but yes he was helpful!)

M10+ 50/.95 with ND filter

The crossing can be a specific picture frame.

People will enter/leave the frame. And each entering will tell a story.
