A classic and I might add superb Noctilux image.  The Noctilux can be magic in the right circumstance.  You nailed. it.

Lovely shot.  However, I do find the two bright spots on her shoulder distracting.  I’m sure they are part of some sparkly bit of the outfit, but would try spotting them out.  Small thing but they keep pulling my eye...

I doubt I could praise this highly enough. Apart from being a truly wonderful portrait, this excellent picture demonstrates a thorough understanding of the use of a fast lens in available light. The lighting on the child's face is perfect. What a sensational portrait that strongly communicates so much about the relationship between the sitter, her beloved pet, and the photographer.

First outing. Happened to be a rally in downtown. Will take a lot of learning to wrangle this beast.

"Yea I'm looking at you..."

In the middle of Mariano's parking lot near Lake Michigan. According to an employee they've made it their home for the past 3 years.

Within reason, posting the same picture in different threads is not a problem and I have done, and do do, it myself from time to time.  It can get a little wearing if you see the same picture again and again in every thread you open 😄 but that's generally not a problem and on the occasions that it has happened in the dim and distant past the Mods have given the 'perpetrator' a gentle good-humoured nudge and life goes on.

If you look at it from the perspective that members are creatures of habit and typically visit the same handful of forums and the same trunkful of threads, it's probably unlikely that the viewing audience in the two threads that you might post the same photo into will significantly overlap.

Pete.
