Graham (G4FUJ) Posted August 30, 2019 Share #61 Posted August 30, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) The day appears to be free, so assuming MINI's coolant loss has not increased I hope to be there
Advertisement Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Hi Graham (G4FUJ), Take a look here LTM meeting. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
farnz Posted August 31, 2019 Share #62 Posted August 31, 2019 A person's been hit by a train between Coventry and services are snarled up so I might be a little later than planned. It's difficult to tell at the moment but I'm hoping it'll be no more than 30 minutes. Pete.
farnz Posted August 31, 2019 Share #63 Posted August 31, 2019 Update: I've managed to make up time so I should be at the museum by 11 o'clock. Pete.
Jimothy Posted August 31, 2019 Share #64 Posted August 31, 2019 I’m here already in the Tubeworks cafe at the museum entrance. Good news for you, Pete, Mrs. Jimothy is here too and toting her Leica😜
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted August 31, 2019 Share #65 Posted August 31, 2019 Great day out! Thoroughly enjoyed the chat. I'll be heading back on a midweek day (or two) once the kiddies are back in school.
pedaes Posted August 31, 2019 Share #66 Posted August 31, 2019 Glad you had a great time - really sorry could not make it this time. A re-run mid-week sounds attractive!

Geoff Marshall Posted August 31, 2019 Author Share #68 Posted August 31, 2019 Enjoyable day out at the Black Country Living museum with some great company, very relaxed meet up and good banter. I will post some photos when I get them developed. Geoff

farnz Posted August 31, 2019 Share #70 Posted August 31, 2019 Thanks for organising, Geoff. It was great to see you, Jim, Debbie, and Graham again too in such an atmospheric setting. The weekdays at the Black Country Living Museum that I've visited on have been less busy but there tends to be fewer staff and volunteers too so some of the exhibits and demonstrations might not be available. Pete. 1
Jimothy Posted August 31, 2019 Share #71 Posted August 31, 2019 A grand day out. Thanks for organising it Graham and for the loan of the camera. Be interesting to see how much operator error there was 😎. Pete, a pleasure to see you again and great to meet you Graham. At some point I’ll get around to arranging a meet in Chester.
