Now I know why you rave over that lens Pete, I can’t get over how sharp it renders the photos. I suppose you’re now going to tell me that they are as rare as hens teeth and ridiculously expensive.

It is a pleasantly sharp lens, Geoff, although I particularly like it because it's so tiny.  

I must confess that I've named it wrongly and it's the W-Nikkor 3.5 cm/2.5 C.

No, neither really.  As far as I recall mine cost me something like £300 and I see them for sale from time to time on the various websites.

Its sister lens the W-Nikkor 3.5 cm/1.8 is much more expensive, larger, and sought after.  The 2.5 seems to fly under most people's radar.

I have the f3.5 version and have just bought another with a black band round the centre which I think is less common.

I recently rediscovered a stash of exposed but undeveloped film. One of them was the roll of Delta 400 (not a film I often use) that I put through the screw thread Leica that Geoff kindly lent me for this trip in August 2019.

The Delta 400 has come out really nicely, Jim, and looks ideal for that setting.  Very enjoyable day too so it's nice to have the memory of it again.
