Chuck Albertson Posted January 26, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 26, 2019 Carry a small bar towel and wipe the camera dry periodically.

fotomas Posted January 28, 2019 Share #8 Posted January 28, 2019 I have a EWA-marine bag. Works somehow. But isn't real fun. Takes some time to get the camera in and out. Focusing is also not so easy. But the camera stays dry! Used it in rain and spray, but not underwater till now. At the analog camera I have a motordrive attached therefor. Might work without but I guess it would be more unpleasant.
Luke_Miller Posted January 28, 2019 Share #9 Posted January 28, 2019 The times I shot in the rain I wore a wide-brimmed hat and carried the camera inside my rain-proof jacket, taking it out only when I was ready to shoot. The few rain drops that got on the body were not a problem. The light on rainy days can be gorgeous.

NERICSSON Posted January 28, 2019 Share #12 Posted January 28, 2019 I use a shower cap to wrap around my Q when I am out in heavy rain.
earleygallery Posted January 28, 2019 Share #13 Posted January 28, 2019 (edited) Brolly, plastic bag, shower cap etc., to keep the camera as dry as possible and a lens hood to avoid raindrops on the lens (which will affect the photos). You can also (sometimes) find a sheltered position to shoot from. Edited January 28, 2019 by earleygallery

I wore one of these whilst shooting the first London Marathon using Canon A1s. 135 rolls of film all shot in the drizzle/rain, and the cameras survived fine. Sadly it was televised and I think that I was seen. 3

The problem with all these devices is that they probably draw more attention than the red dot on a Leica camera or a fancy designer bag.😄
