Thanks for the upgrade👍

Are there different “looks” for desktop, pad and phone? Can you manually select them?

Incidentally, the bug I reported on iPad Pro and the previous forum is no longer present.

ETA there is a space missing between Location and Luxembourg under my avatar.

I do miss an easily accessible option to switch to a „full site“ view on a mobile platform.

There isn't such an option. The mobile view is activated depending on the width of the screen.

What content do you miss?

There are different looks which are selected depending on the screen size.

When using a desktop computer simply drag the browser window very narrow and you'll see the effect.

I retract my feature wish :) I just realized that, contrary to the old mobile version, „new notifications„ info will be visible on top of the stack and not be buried in the sub menu.

If the „search“ function, which never worked in the old mobile view on iOS, now works as expected, once the index has been rebuilt, I will no longer see any need for the ‚legacy‘ full view.

Thanks.

Is there a way to edit or delete an activity stream?

Indeed. You'll be overwhelmed ;)

1. In the menu choose Activity > My Activity Streams > Create New Stream

Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here…

Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!

2. Choose a name and make your settings:

  • Which items to find
  • in which sub-sections (in my example Q-forum only )
  • Which read / follow status
  • Where to link (top of page or first unread)

Don't forget to save!

3. Have it in your menu:

4. See the results:

Results may be a bit thin right now as the background processes have a lot to do...

Thanks, but that produces a blank page, with "There are no results to show in this activity stream yet", and "The search index is currently processing. Activity stream results may not be complete".

Are you seeing more than that?

Yes, I'm seeing a few threads that I've posted in previously where there are new posts to read but (I assume) nothing from before 'Time Zero' when the software was updated.  As I view or post to these threads they disappear so perhaps there's nothing new to show you, or as you point out, the transfer hasn't quite caught up yet.

Pete.

The search is thankfully much faster now. I hope it will be as fast when the indexing is finished. All results are not showing up but I suppose that is a result of the ongoing indexing too.

One very annoying thing is that criteria pop-up closes each time a selection is made.

Paul,

Go to the "Activity" tab at the top of the page,

> My Activity Streams

> Content I follow.

Pete.

thanks- but that does not offer the same functionality.

previously- i would go to a thread (usually a long thread-- and there was an option to go to the 1st unread post. . . no need to scroll through several pages of read posts...

the link you provided-- takes me to the last posted item... thereby skipping over several unread posts.....
