dkmoore Posted September 25, 2018 Share #3 Posted September 25, 2018 I heard a rumor that Kodachrome was coming back, or at least a derivative of it. I can't remember where I saw/read that. ' Anyway, nice shot!

fotografr Posted September 26, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 26, 2018 I posted a thread about it earlier today in the Film Forum I believe that article just referenced Ektachrome and several color and b&w negative films. I did hear a rumor a while back about Kodachrome but that's not been substantiated. The problem with bringing back Kodachrome is that the equipment required for processing it is extremely expensive and I think convincing entrepreneurs to invest would be a hard sell, particularly since the E6 films are so good and so easy to process. My gut feeling is that we've seen the last of K64. Even so, it's good to see film making a comeback. The only digital images I've seen that rival the look of film are from the first Monochrom with it's CCD sensor. Those sensors will go the way of Kodachrome, which is why I will hang onto my MM "to the death."
