luigi bertolotti Posted September 25, 2018 Share #3  Posted September 25, 2018 (edited) Ah … hum… sometime ago I wrote in the M forum that was tempted by CL but not interested in having one "until it's in black only"... this announcement throws me in a corner…. let's wait to see how it looks with the black 18/55 on… Edited September 25, 2018 by luigi bertolotti
jaapv Posted September 25, 2018 Share #4 Â Posted September 25, 2018 Resistance is futile...Luigi, once you have used this little camera, there is no way back
Wojtek Posted September 25, 2018 Share #5 Â Posted September 25, 2018 Finally it looks beautiful! (I wasn't a fan of how black CL looked, sorry)
ramarren Posted September 25, 2018 Share #6 Â Posted September 25, 2018 Meh. Â All my Leicas but one have been black body. It's what I prefer. Silver looks gaudy to my eye.
jaapv Posted September 25, 2018 Share #7 Â Posted September 25, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think it is pretty in silver, but I prefer black on this one.
earleygallery Posted September 26, 2018 Share #8 Â Posted September 26, 2018 Looks a little toy like in silver.
Stonewall Brigade Posted September 26, 2018 Share #9 Â Posted September 26, 2018 Looks great and should appeal to many and sell. Â Perhaps in a year there may be a CL-P without the red logo?! Â Or a white one marked the Canada edition.
paul chiu Posted September 26, 2018 Share #10 Â Posted September 26, 2018 Bring back the titanium finish of the M6
ramarren Posted September 26, 2018 Share #11 Â Posted September 26, 2018 Bring back the titanium finish of the M6 Heck with the titanium finish ... Bring back the Titanium skin, as in the M9 Titan...! I doubt it will happen, but that was a pretty thing.
scott kirkpatrick Posted September 26, 2018 Share #12  Posted September 26, 2018 (edited) M10 in silver looks fine to me, but the CL in silver top and bottom with the big silver lens as shown -- no way. And the silver on the supposedly tiny pancake lens just shows how much of the lens space must be filled with autofocus machinery. Steve Lane Posted September 26, 2018 Share #13 Â Posted September 26, 2018 I have been waiting for the silver version since the CL was originally announced. I recall seeing some early pictures of it on a rumour site last year. Thought it looked stunnng then, as I do now. This will be the version I purchase As it will look awesome paired with my silver TL 35 and 60.

jerryrok Posted September 28, 2018 Share #15 Â Posted September 28, 2018 Looks very nice. I love my all black CL. Sometimes less is more, at least in my eyes.
albert Posted September 29, 2018 Share #16 Â Posted September 29, 2018 I love my black CL with the huge silver 35 mm 1.4 with Leica circ-polarizer. People are complicated.
jonatdonuts Posted October 2, 2018 Share #17 Â Posted October 2, 2018 Now for the silver Summicron 23mm... Â Though I'd prefer a silver Summilux 1.4 23mm....
Louis Posted October 2, 2018 Share #18 Â Posted October 2, 2018 I also prefer the black version as all my cameras have always been in black. But the good thing about the silver version is that one can use black lenses as well as silver lenses,
Paul Reading Posted October 4, 2018 Share #19 Â Posted October 4, 2018 I hate black so much I bought the X-Pro 2 Graphite rather than a black CL. Now I can swap but will I? If Leica had sold the CL in silver on day 1 I would have bought it and the various lenses. Â It is difficult choice as I will lose a lot of money.
