war Posted August 22, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2018 Well done crisp image. The bird has an intense readied stare, and yet his right talons appear relaxed and not gripping the branch, curious.

fotografr Posted August 22, 2018 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2018 Well done crisp image. The bird has an intense readied stare, and yet his right talons appear relaxed and not gripping the branch, curious. Injured leg, perhaps?

ShawnK Posted August 23, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted August 23, 2018 Wally, curious observation for sure. It was a rather thick branch & it was a rather docile bird of pray. For 10mins or so I observed, it always held that intense stare. I thought maybe he is as old as I am, so had to squint to fine-tune his focus. North / Northwest Posted September 3, 2018 Share #12 Posted September 3, 2018 Very nice capture. I've viewed many eagles over the years and must say you've taken a fine image.
