StS Posted May 19, 2019 Author Share #282 Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) There was a previous offline discussion, if I understood correctly, the concerns are that someone shows a picture beforehand, which is handed in by someone else as his contribution. While it can be interesting to discuss, why outtakes were not chosen (I have two pictures, which "do not work" if you think longer about them), we should better start such a thread after the voting is done. My personal feeling is that it can't hurt to show pictures, which were not taken during the Challenge, we had a forum member visiting New York one week ahead of us, showing his pictures; pictures from New York City are plentiful anyhow. If this is OK for everyone, I personally would be very much in favour of such a gallery (and have to admit I have already shown pictures, which were not taken on the Challenge weekend*. StS Posted May 19, 2019 Author Share #293 Posted May 19, 2019 Well, traditionally, I share my pre-selection with photographers (none of them part of our parish) or interested people, who know the locations. Typically, everyone prefers a different picture, but the reasons, why a certain picture is preferred are still valuable. In the end, my ambition is to take a picture, which makes sense in a gallery of good photos. If I'm satisfied with my entry, I'm fine.
