I've met medical dr's who left jobs in NZ because they didn't like being addressed by their christian names and Surgeons in the UK who wear a bow ties because Mr doesn't cut it for them. Actually that's useful, stay away from the blokes in white coats wearing bow ties!

I wonder if those watches need to be calibrated as often as the rangefinders.

You need to send it to Leica every year for day light saving time change. If there is a backlog (most likely) of six months or more then the watch will need to remain with Leica for the next DST adjustment. Since you may not be able to use your watch at all if the backlog continues, Leica will send you picture of your watch (with accurately adjusted time) in postal mail every 2 weeks.

Still don't catch how a watch can have an L mount...

Leave that to engineers. But trust me, L mount is necessary for automation. You don't want to keep moving needles yourself to track time. Do you?

I'm a dentist who owns two bow ties. i even wore one once - with purple polka dots- to the wedding of Patricia's cousin and his friend. Does that qualify?

I am disappointed that there is no "10 Years of 37.5 Megapixels" Special Edition of the S...or maybe a series of cufflinks with an S body on them. If we can't get updated resolution, maybe we can at least have some cufflinks to give to a banker friend...(don't know many photographers who use cufflinks...).

So what happened with the SL-mount news that Andras Kaufmann was talking about in the recent LULA interview? He specifically mentioned "big news" for June 14th to see what the SL mount could do... Disappointing.

He said L mount, not SL specifically, and in June, no date as I recall. This has been mentioned here a bunch of times. Still 2 weeks left in June.... but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
