Nice job. Congrats on the camera. It looks very good. How are you scanning?

Many Thanks. Yes, the MP feels great.
I‘m actually scanning with Plustek OpticFilm 135i and Vuescan.

I'm always surprised when I hear someone has a new MP. I look regularly and never see them in stock. Lucky you.

I use Vuescan as well but with a Plustek 8200.

I was lucky to get a new copy in a Leica Store here in Germany.
I struggled quite a bit to see the differences between 8200 and 135. Therefore I see the 135i as a starting point.

I am using an Epson V850 but I feel a Plustek has far better image quality, more sharp negatives. Have anybody checked both?

I also had been Lucky and I found an MP black paint in March.

Very nice Shanil, which lens were you using ? Cheers !

Thanks Graham! It's the 35 summarit f2.5, great lens I just absolutely hate the lens hood and the lens caps!

Apols should have added that and film stock in original post

35:1.4 v2  & M6 TTL. Ilford HP5+ .  Home dev 10mins 1:1 D76.

I had a lot of issues loading this roll on the reel, the film ended up sticking together which I think is why these sprocket marks are on the image.   (I had thought perhaps light leaks but the roll I loaded more easily in the same tank didn't have them).

Will re-work the scan/edit at some point but thought it's quite fun as-is
