Where were the focus points?? Doesn't look too great in terms of accuracy.

I should have used face detect - I was using single point and had focused on the button on the collar.  I should have taken a bit more time with the lens.

Will get back in a couple of weeks, and will be a bit more process oriented.

A few days ago I have posted (in the SL image thread) a foto of a caged lion in a zoo.

AF single point was used, the eyes of the lion are tack sharp although photographing through the fence wasn't easy  and the lion was moving.

I should add that I have been using R and M cameras since decades, lately SL with M-lenses only, so I have MF only experience (besides Smartphone).

Beyond 70 it's getting harder on me, so I acquired the Summicron-SL 2,0/75 - had been waiting for it since last summer.

I am absolutely happy with the speed, precision and easy handling of the AF.

@mediafotografie - I have seen and tried both the &% and the 90 SL Apo Crons

Loved the more compressed look of the 90 especially for close ups, but felt that AF was a bit hit and miss and that the 75 delivered more consistent and reliable AF so ended up picking up the 75
