I understand that it will be 28 degrees and we are near the water almost all the time so let's hope the will be a light breese from the river.. Today I talked to the café owners and the Odessa restaurant.  It will be no problem to sit outside with our group if we like. And maybe we get a nice thunderstorm at the end of the day Ravi so everybody will be happy.   . I sat today at " De blaauwe hand / The blue hand , where they have an excellent beer this year called " 476 " . That's the number of  years this  café is already open. Shot some photo's today, also of this café. Maybe we can reroute if it is to long a walk for the temperature and just stay the rest of the day in the shade of the church here  or we can go there after dinner, it will be a nice evening with such temperatures.

This Island is recently made. They dug away a huge pile of sand, making an extra river/lake to give more room for the river and its rising water. I’m bringing an old map to show what has changed.

The program uptill now will be, things can change, but don’t count on it. It’s a nice walk but keep in mind, that big parts of the walk are in open air so an umbrella for sun or rain might be in order.

We walk around in the building, watching the renovation, which might make nice pictures.  We also walk through the main hall which resembles the “ Concertgebouw”  , Amsterdam in a way. Irene will also tell a little story about the building.
