This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. It doesn't seem to be very popular. :p

 

I like your take on it though.

 

I got some great images out of his exhibition in Melbourne last year but can't show them here as they were shot on a Sony A7S with Voigt. 15mm lens.

Thanks! To be fair, I selected only a small part of the exhibition. It's in Salts Mill, in Saltaire, close to Bradford which is Hockney's home town.

 

It's a permanent exhibition and is well worth a visit. The images on the screens on the wall were done on his iPad.

I'm finding "What do we photograph on the streets?" to be rather rhetorical lately...

 

With NB23 self-distracting departure, here is only A Miller left on the street. Literately speaking.

Yes, some nice pictures comes here and where and even on this page.

But here is some irony what most versatile camera as Leica M is for street photography... it is not in use to its full potential here, on LUF. IMO...
