This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. Preston markets in Melblourne are a wonderful place for the local community to purchase high quality produce and many different varieties of food and meats as well as gather to have a coffe or lunch - of course it is threatened by developemnt proposals which would chase out all these public amenities and repalce them with supermarket chains and residential development...

I was down in Melbourne for the AFL grand final weekend and stopped in for a wander...here are a few snaps M11 | 28 if it matters
