This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. I know; this is a very delicate subject that some may not approve posting. But I think an important job of a street photographer is also exposing the sad parts of our society!

I always offer money to those that have a dog and say 'this is for the dog'. My wife regularly buys stuff in the supermarket and gives it to the guys 'living' outside. Essentially it is a government problem, but sometimes we can assist a little bit.

It is sad, but life itself can be sad and difficult for everyone, no matter their lot in life. Excellent image.
