It is one of my most favorite M lenses to use for landscape photography. I think you will find on overcast and rainy days the 24 Elmar will exceed in your expectations for a great wide-angle lens for the M cameras too. My clients purchase the most landscape photographs when I shoot with the 24 Elmar followed by the 35 Summilux-Asph FLE and 18 SEM.
