I'd like to see a photo of a Digital with a 240, 35/2, 50/1.4 and wate to meet the op's requirements

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/265902-crumpler-and-leica-m/?p=3138111  and subsequent posts with pics.

This will give some idea.

I can easily fit an M digital and 3 lens kit into a Hadley digital or Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home.

One lens goes on the outside of each of the dividers and the third is mounted on the camera lens down in the middle.

I was exactly in the same situation.

I bought a Hadley Digital from those good people at Park Cameras and it fits my M240 with lens attached, two lenses either side (which may be the 21mm SEM and VL 15mm, both pretty wide lenses) and at the bottom under the camera attached lens,  my Olympus EVF.

There's even a pocket at the front from my Garmin GPS

Just over £100 too.

I brought my kit to the shop and the guy at Park Cameras let me try out the Hadley Digital with my kit. He was most helpful and understanding. Recommended!

That's how I have mine configured.

If you get another divider, one with velcro along only one side, you can attach it under the attached lens and there's room for more stuff there too.

The Olympus EVF comes with a soft bag so I didn't need it.

As I recall my runners up to the Digital Hadley were the Domke F5b and a Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 25i.
My kit fit but a bit too tight (28f/2.8, 50f/2 ,90f/2.8)
Not that it was a big factor but the Billingham was simply elegant as well as the most functional

I should also add I didn't want fancy leather or anything bigger than a 3 lens kit

Thanks for the photo - I guess I'm just not a great packer!! I'm more of a grab - shoot - repack - move person so I like a like extra wiggle room; but you've shown it can be done. Maybe I'm wasting space, but I feel most comfortable with a small Artisan&Artist or Hadley Small for 2 lenses and the Pro for three or four - but to each his own. I just hate fumbling for a lens or accessory- and once you drop a lens your thinking may change like mine did[emoji30]

I am absolutely happy with my new ONA the Bowery.

Available in leather or Canvas and leather applications.

Mine is the Leica Edition in leather and all red inside.

Never had something better to carry my M and up to three lenses.

That works fine for an all Summarit kit (or equivalent size), if you start adding really wide or fast lenses and it starts to be a bit tight. An all Summilux kit does not work and forget a three lens kit if one of them is a noctilux or a 21/24/28 lux. That's where the Hadley small starts to shine.

I use a Hadley Digital with three Summilux lenses, the 50, 35 FLE and the 28 Lux.  It's a little tight but it works.  When the bulky 28 lux is mounted it's a really tight fit in the middle.  When traveling I place the Hadley Digital inside a backpack, the arrangement provides great protection and easy access to the camera.

The OP said he wants to travel light ....I guess we should define that?

......because nobody travels light with a Noctilux :)

Traveling heavy? Artisan&Artist "Oskars Day bag" is nice with its red soft interior and durable black canvas outside (ACAM 7100)

Perfect for an M and 3 big lenses

But the 75 is a real squeeze

I am, one lens kit...

Agreed...... the less I carry the happier I am ......with one lens you dont really need a bag.

If I anticipate the desire for another perspective I'll bring an extra lens

Having a small bag is more comfortable when sitting in a cafe.

There are times when traveling you have to separate photography from dining/drinking :D

I have no trouble with a 75 Summicron or Summilux in the 4 Million Dollar Bag or Hadley Digital - it's in my photos linked above. A fast wide lens such as my 21 Summilux is a different matter.

The APO-Summicron is a different matter, its 1/4 the size of the Summilux. The 75 Summilux is one of Leica's largest M lenses, it's up there with the older 90 Summicron. It's larger than the current 90 APO-Summicron.

Well if one is obsessed with a small bag, then maybe even a smaller bag like the Billingham polo... carry your camera and put your second/third lens in that.

I retired my digital because I got a M246, and started using filters. The size of a six filter pouch made the bag useless for anything else.

I have both lenses. The 75 APO-Summicron is not 1/4 the size of the 75 Summulux although the latter is a big M lens!

Again, I do not have problems with the 75 Sumilux in either of those bags!

I have both as well, I use both daily and it is. Though that's not reflected in the weight difference. There is a big difference between 49mm and 60mm.

In the digital, if you adjust the inserts to accept the 75 lux, you have little room for anything but the smallest of leica lenses, and none of the really wide lens.

Thanks for the replies. I've had the Bowery in the past but I dropped it once and it damaged my Sony camera inside it. Very slippery and no handles to grab on to. This could well be the downfall of the Billingham products but I'm yet to hold one in my hands. I do need to get something sorted pretty quickly though.

When I say traveling light, I simply mean M240, WA Lens, 35mm Lens and 50mm Lens. I may not carry all at the same time but most likely will do. If the camera was weather resistant I'd happily have that over my shoulder on a strap and just carry the lenses in a small bag with room for other things like tourist maps etc.

I think I should just hire a person to carry this stuff for me and I'll hold my camera :-D
