Unfortunately it was at a set of points that engaged while the front wheel was still in it and it crushed the bottom 60 degrees of the bicycle wheel to wafer thin. The remaining 300 degrees was fine. I had little sympathy because the pants-showing, gnarly teenage hooligan was riding in a prohibited place so there was a delicious irony. The result was a grumpy, walking, pants-showing, gnarly teenage hooligan. Fortunately the tram system detects whether the points have properly engaged and, if not, it stops the tram before it gets there so the tram and its occupants were unaffected. Thus the guffaw at this sign got somewhat stuck in my throat. However, the sign is concise and memorable.
