Couldn't work out how to get longer than 4 secs on the Q, so it wasn't all that successful. (I was shooting 75 secs on the SL)

Selecting 100 or 200 ISO may allow you up to 60 or 120sec. ...counter-intuitive I know 😎

Thank you Piran. Yes, did some research once inside in the warm. I like to use up to about ISO1600, or less. And with a tracking/guiding mount I've used exposures of the likes of 5 minutes (with my Fujis). I did try the SL as well with the 35/2 and the 60/2.8.

Not really what the Q was designed for I suppose.

Another image taken with the Leica Q. ISO 100, 1/8 sec at F/16.  Tripod was used.  I wanted to give the appearance as though it was floating in the sky.

Used flowers on hand with this handy garden basket to create another Still Life.  Taken with the Leica Q, ISO 100, 1/8 sec @ F/16.

Wally -

We enjoy telling people that we were caught in a blizzard on the equator.  Eventually we tell them we were on Cotopaxi at 15,000 feet.  You had a much clearer day (though once we descended below 14,000 feet it was sunny an clear).

So I am in love with the Q conversions but have ordered a Q2M since no new Q available.

I too have a Q (model 116) and a Q2M... On the plus side you will enjoy the B&W viewfinder, the extra resolution available and that with more sensitivity too. On the minus side there are no colour channels to play with in the 'conversions'. Maybe order the filters if you will miss the colour conversions. I chose not to and 'look' at stuff slightly differently before choosing which kit to carry or use (mostly turns out to be the mono nowadays). Welcome 😎

Thank you!

I may have to find a minty Q as I really do like how they image ... hope I am as enamored with the Q2M ... assume I will be.
