So I am in love with the Q conversions but have ordered a Q2M since no new Q available.

I too have a Q (model 116) and a Q2M... On the plus side you will enjoy the B&W viewfinder, the extra resolution available and that with more sensitivity too. On the minus side there are no colour channels to play with in the 'conversions'. Maybe order the filters if you will miss the colour conversions. I chose not to and 'look' at stuff slightly differently before choosing which kit to carry or use (mostly turns out to be the mono nowadays). Welcome 😎

Thank you!

I may have to find a minty Q as I really do like how they image ... hope I am as enamored with the Q2M ... assume I will be.

Something closer to home:

...a very famous view on the chalk-cliffs of Germany's largest island, Rügen. To manage the extreme contrasts I used the automatic bracketing function of the Q (Type 116), shot handheld 3 exposures -2/0/+2 and used the HDR function of Lightroom. Impressed with LR's algorithm to align the 3 layers and it shows that one can do exposure bracketing even without a tripod if there is no other choice (...+30 tourists behind me would have thrown me over the cliff if I even had considered taking the time to build up a tripod and block them...the view spot is really limited for 1-2 persons...)

Lost place (1)...left over of Nazi-Germany's dream of a hotel for 20.000 at the baltic coast. Other blocks have been refurbished and are now sold (or better - sold out..) as apartments. The whole blocks are a couple of kilometers long...

40 hand-knitted ruby rose buds arranged on one of the wedding cake's tins.
My wife also hand-painted that middle tier tin in a canal narrow boat fashion
and her mother way back then actually made the wedding cake.
