I haven't posted lately, so here are some images of my mandolin, built for me by Master Luthier Michael Heiden in Creston British Columbia in 2015

This mandolin has a one piece back which is not common, most mandolins have a 2 piece back (as do most violins) .

You can get 2 Qs for one of these,  but you have to wait about a year :)

And finally a real fun instrument , loud and obnoxious , but actually really nice sounding , my banjo handmade by the Pisgah Banjo Company in North Carolina from native woods
