First try with Astro: (Not the best place as there was some light in the background)

Good first try. Now you have images to compare and get better ones. What settings?

First One: f1.7, ISO 1600, 8 Sec
Second: f1.7, ISO800, 15 Sec

Ops, just saw that I posted the Images to the wrong thread as these were shot with a Q2 🙈

Q image with cropping.  Still amazed at how far it can go.  (small file sizes due to limitations, prints are awesome)

Yoki,

This is an excellent portrait of the man. I suggest you crop in on just him. He is the story. The light and focus is excellent and he has a powerful expression. IMHO.

I do appreciate your nice comment and suggestion. You're right, he is very cooperative during the shots and obviously; he can act!

I need to tell more about him; what he does and everything, hence the background. However, I don't think that shooting at f/2.8 will support that story.. I need something around f/5.6 - f/8.0.

Good thing that I learn something today, my friend.. Thank you so much.
