I made my first attempt with the Q digiscoping the moon tonight. I used a Svarovski ATS 80 spotting scope and a 20x-60x eyepiece at the 20x magnification. I connected the Q using the Leica Q Digiscoping adapter, #42337. The eyepiece is slightly small for the adapter. I added several wraps of gaffers tape and it filled the void perfectly. It's a fun challenge. If there are many others interested, perhaps we should start a Q Digiscoping thread. Settings were: 1/500, f/2.0, ISO 200. Processed in Lightroom for cropping, exposure, sharpening. The large dark area on the center right is the Sea of Tranquility. On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 landed in the bottom left corner of that area.

Amazing.  Didn't know you can do that with a Q!

Halloween event this weekend - taken in very dark conditions with the Q set to f/1.7 to maintain a decent shutter speed and ISO 3200.

A very good photo.  I clicked on the link next to it and landed up in your Flickr gallery.  Used up a lot of my work time throughly enjoying the pictures there!  A few I think I recognised from earlier posts.

Thank you.
