Your photo reminded me of one I took recently at Grand Central in New York:

James,

welcome to the forum!

The light is magnificent and your capture perfect. I like the star shape very much here. the reflections in that golden Color on the foreground are very nice. It is awesome how much contrast the sensor can take. I guess you did not use any filter probably. Keep going and let us please view more of your work.

First time I took the camera with me on my regular walk through the hinterland of London's Whitechapel district on my way to work. This original Huguenot building in Whitechapel has appeared in numerous BBC period dramas and it looked like it was being prepared again today.

About 10 minutes before sunrise.

Wonderful atmosphere Adalsteinn. I really want to return to Iceland when i see such pictures, even in wintertime :)

Perhaps you want to be my aurora and landscape guide when i return, me and a friend have actually talked about going back for some aurora action and astrophotograpy.
