Based on what I've seen here, the IQ on this camera doesn't grab me at all.  I much more prefer the Leica D2 IQ.  I'm not remotely tempted.

Ditto. Giuseppe has beautiful photos, but the front-and-center watermark is seriously distracting.

Used the Q at a wedding last week. Not looked at all the files yet, but very impressed. Here is one from the 1st dance...

Type whatever you want to say in the 'Reply to this topic' box then in the bottom right corner next to the red 'Post' button, click on 'More Reply Options'. There you will find buttons to select whatever file you wish to upload into the post.  Simples!

I have to say the IQ isn't close. The M may be harder work (which is why I bought a Q), but the M's image quality is vastly better. I'm finding the Q to be a real disappointment, close to giving up and selling it to be honest. The results are that of an expensive happy-snappy camera.

   ........ 'vastly' ???? I think you need to justify this statement .......

as someone who has a large library of images from the M9, M240, X-Vario and T, I would not regard the results from the Q as 'that on an expensive happy-snappy camera' 

 

two images 2 years apart ...... Q and M + Noctilux ......

I would have no hesitation in using the Q in place of the M + 28/2 ......

My guess is the first one is M.
