@mdemeyer, I would be glad if a get an offer from a photographer like Adam. He said more than once how great your picture is. Have a look at Adam‘s Website and hear his advice...

The only thing he told you is to think about the use of micro contrast.

It would be interesting to give him the original file and than we will see which is the „more professional“ or „more amateurish“ post prosessing.

I think he didn‘t attack you in any way.

I can happily skip the spat - but I do like to see constructive suggestions on how a different pp technique might improve a photo.  I appreciate this is a kit forum rather than a pp forum - but even so - this topic is the image thread and about the results that can be achieved when using the M10.

What's wrong with 'Great photo - have you considered trying x or y in pp? - I think the photo might benefit because ....'

7Artisans 1.1/50. Today it made me think about maybe, just maybe selling 1/5 Noctilux :)

These are really stunning rendering. I've found this lens to be a but hit and miss in pictures I've seen elsewhere but I really like these you've showed, particularly the one a few days ago of the ballerina's feet.

You mistake me for the person who posted the photo. I don’t have a dog in this fight. ;-)

I actually just wanted a more technically specific comment than “amateurish” so I understood what the comment was saying. If he thought there was excessive detail or sharpening, or whatever, I would have understood his point. As it was stated, I didn’t understand his point.

This lens is much less unpredictable than Noctilux 1/50. Most people who got so far have been treating it as a toy and did not do any serious research on its capabilities. My idea from the get go was to use it for work, so I took my time to figure it out. The reason why I got interested was that it is obscures a smaller part of a viewfinder than Noctilux due to its being physically shorter and of lesser diameter. Working with dancers it is a powerful advantage.

Nice. That is a good find and for this kind of shot it's really well suited. Really like how painterly they look.

It can go from pastel all the way to chiaroscuro stopping somewhere in between :)
