Can you share the F-stop / ISO and shutter speed.  i would like to learn to capture the ‘moment’

It is not at all clear what the exact shooting parameters were. The EXIF shows f5.6 at ISO200 and 1/750th second, but with a filter fitted it was probably a stop or so faster. Exposure was set manually using the red/blue over/under exposure highlights in live-view.

These were shot as part of an exercise comparing an Olympus E-M1.2 and Leica M10 setup for working with polarising filters, using the EVF on the M10. The Leica output feels a bit more organic than the Olympus (mainly due to the DOF and rendering of the lenses), but the Olympus is easier to work with and has the benefit of complete weather sealing which might be important in this case.

just get a cheap phone you guys, the photos posted here are awful

Who are you to dictate what is 'awful'? Can we see your contribution? Most photos I have seen from a mobile phone are selfies. I have yet to see a decent photograph taken on a phone.

Unless you can provide evidence your comment will be ridiculed.

Some shots from the sea front at Barceloneta. All M10 with either 35mm or 50mm Summilux and a polarising filter (not that it achieves much for the shot into the sun 🙂).

Lovely!  I think polarisers are underrated and should be used far more often.
