Dahlia Opening

M8, Visoflex, 65 Elmar, chimney viewfinder.

My macro camera has been my CL, it is in the shop, so how can I use a Visoflex II on an M8. I picked up a 4x chimney finder, hand held for this picture. One of the best from the 65. The usage on the side of a hill was really disorienting, deep breath, be steady.

Nice image. I have also been using a 65 Elmar on my CL, how are you mounting it? What I have done is use a M to L adapter and put an OTRPO extension tube behind the lens into the focus mount. This doesn't give me a stop at infinity, but is workable. Just curious what others are doing.

Hello and good evening Tom., ( @tommonego@gmail.com )

I prefer to mount the lightweight Visoflex 'Glas' in two versions on an 'standard' M-Bayonet-Adapter. (WATE, MATE, SATE's s - Small Angle Tri Elmar's ... !)

The weight-saving version can be found here:

The optimised one with tripod mounting bracket also has its charm:

Adjustable Leitz Bellows II or 543195 work as well, of course. ( & more Pictures ~ #2, #18, #21)

Hi, an older lens for older cars (on an older camera (M9 - Summarit 2,5/35 f 2,5)) :

(I am not sure whether the Summarit is too young for this thread ... OTOH it is no longer made and the whole Summarit line is said to be discontinued ... --- )
