pgk Posted May 13, 2018 Share #3942  Posted May 13, 2018 A 1933 Mountain Elmar (105mm f/6.3) in a home made focus mount on a Sony A7 MkII. Shot at somewhere between f/12.5 and f/18 slightly against the light (an old black plastic Kodak film canister with the bottom cut off makes a good hood). I'm astounded at the image quality from this 85 year old lens - full shot followed by detail so viewers can judge for themselves.  Welcome, dear visitor! LichtUndDunkelheit Posted May 23, 2018 Share #3948  Posted May 23, 2018 one again Leica SL Voigtländer Apo Lanthar 125mm (M42) at its main work.... Macro (no Crop) 20180507-L1000208.jpg I really wished Voigtländer would give us a renewal of that lens.  It was sold for like $400 back then, but only for a very short period of time.  Its prices on the used market are like $2000 now.  Really, Voigtländer wouldnt have any issue selling this now for $800, $1000 or even $1200 - at probably a good profit.  Not really sure why they dont bother.

Your picture is a reminder to use it more often. Hi Ecar,  A Xenar off a Braun Paxette, 39mm thread. It needed a 15.2mm extension to get it to focus at infinity.  This shot had another +7mm ring on it to bring it in a little closer.  Steve... SunnySixteen Posted May 30, 2018 Share #3956  Posted May 30, 2018 Summicron 50 DR circa 1965 with my newly aqcuired SPDOO eyes. I've had this lens for 2 years without the close focus eyes, I'm happy to have recently found a good copy, and pleased with the results of my test roll. This is the minimum focus distance, shot on expired Fujicolor 200 & M6. Welcome, dear visitor!
