yep- we have removed our Flow Frames for winter. the photos are what is called a standard langstroth frame from our Brood box. Flow Frames are just for honey storage- no brood, pollen, etc. They are stored is a 'super' above the brood box with a 'queen exluder' between.  The pictures I posted a few pages back show a flow frame full of honey.

If that is the 50mm Macro Vivitar, I have the same lens but in M42 mount. It is an outstanding lens. Unfortunately, I do not own a Leica camera camera on which I can put it to use.......How difficult is it to use on M240?

In Wetzlar, you may recognize Leica's new home: M6 with Summaron 2.8/35 mm (1963), on Kodak Portra 160. I think I used it almost wide open.

Leica M9, 50mm Summilux Pre-ASPH

I'm a sucker for the modern aspherical lens look at times, but when I see how my older lenses can smoothly melt from foreground into background (especially in black and white), I feel I'm the wiser man being pleased with 'the look through older glass' like the subtle feeling in this shot (when viewed large) of marathon runners on a rainy Sunday morning.

Visited my daughter in Virginia. This is Remy, her boyfriends pal. He has to be on a tether as Canadian geese occupy the nearby pond. Remy likes geese.......The feeling is not mutual.

Taken with Leica II using 400 Tri-X and 50mm 2.5 Hektor. I love a bit of an antique look in photographs; I may have found a favorite 50.
