michaelwj Posted July 6, 2017 Share #3721 Posted July 6, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wonder if a competent professional engraver can engrave a BP Leica and infill with white to match? (Knowing nothing about it,) how hard can it be?

michaelwj Posted July 7, 2017 Share #3723 Posted July 7, 2017 Thanks Doc, His work looks nice. Not interested for myself, but rather responding to aldi's knocked back engraving request from Leica.
JBA Posted July 14, 2017 Share #3724 Posted July 14, 2017 More pictures of Charlie's MP: I became personally acquainted with Charlie Kirk years ago in Tokyo. He subsequently moved to Istanbul, where he documented the protests and had to dodge tear gas canisters & avoid police beatings. Don't imagine babying his gear was a high priority.

Paulus Posted August 26, 2017 Share #3729 Posted August 26, 2017 Hi guys I have the M10 which I absolutely love but I want also to buy a film camera . I am thinking between the MP and the M7 ... can I have your opinion about which one? Many thanks Enviado do meu iPhone usando o Tapatalk MP of course. It keeps its emotional value and is in my opinion a more beautiful camera. The M7 is easier to put on automatic.. Both make excellent pictures ,but what did you really expect me other to say than: I love my MP...

adli Posted August 26, 2017 Share #3733 Posted August 26, 2017 On the other hand, I don't have this feeling.. Well, the easy available information on the net will tell you that the MP is all mechanic and independent of battery if you disregard the light meter. M7 has electronic shutter and auto choice for shutter speed. If the battery is empty, only 1/60 and 1/125 works.
Denys Posted August 26, 2017 Share #3734 Posted August 26, 2017 Who said of jazz - "if you need to ask the question, you'll never understand the answer"? MP all the way. And, I've owned neither of them; so if I know the answer.. Enjoy!
Paul Verrips Posted August 26, 2017 Share #3735 Posted August 26, 2017 I use M7 + M-A. If i have to choose between M7 & MP, it would be MP. My i love my M7 but in the end i prefer less electronics, although i never had a problem with my M7. Ever thought about the M-A?
