honcho Posted January 18, 2017 Share #3541 Posted January 18, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Steve , this post is useful for my memory (sometimes failing) , inside I have a roll of Kodak TX400 In your case , how do you remember what film you have inside ? Best Henry I mainly use black and white films in my MP, usually Fuji Acros, Adox Silvermax, Ilford Delta 100, Kodak TMax, Adox CMS 20 or Rollei RPX25. On those rare occasions when I use Kodak Ektar, I tear off a flap from the film carton and push it into the hot shoe as a reminder that I have colour film in the camera.

I use sometimes 100 or 400 and the post helps me to know what I have inside the camera . Rg H. Henry, I use slow emulsions up to 100iso. If I need to change the dial, it's invariably downwards!

oldwino Posted March 1, 2017 Share #3549 Posted March 1, 2017 So is the GMT My GMT has never kept accurate time. I've had it serviced by Rolex. Still runs slow. Maybe it's telling me to slow down (?) My MP is quite awesome, on the other hand.
Michael Geschlecht Posted March 1, 2017 Share #3550 Posted March 1, 2017 Hello Old, Welcome to the Forum. Some wrist watches that time correctly when put on a machine run differently when certain people wear them on their wrists. It may be a pulse beat at a certain pulse rate, or something else, that might make this happen. Certain watch companies take this into account when their clients tell them that the watch that runs correctly on the machine does not run correctly when they wear it on their wrist. Other Companies will only adjust their watches to what their machine says is the correct rate. Best Regards, Michael

Michael Geschlecht Posted March 2, 2017 Share #3553 Posted March 2, 2017 Hello Old, You might try keeping track of how slow or how fast your watch is over a couple of weeks & then take it to someone & simply ask them to adjust the watch to be how ever many seconds slow or fast per day or per week. Best Regards, Michael.

gbealnz Posted March 25, 2017 Share #3557 Posted March 25, 2017 Go for it Mute, you only live once, that was my excuse. And as long as you buy carefully, the loss in the unlikely event of selling is minimal. Gary

Cheers, J If we're to be logical, holding its value is a good thing. You buy it and when you sell you end up having used it for free.
