earleygallery Posted December 13, 2016 Share #5 Posted December 13, 2016 M is on the UK site. I expect it is some kind of update to the website causing temporary 'issues'. We've just updated our website at work and there are some bugs to be worked through by the web people, even though it was tested in demo form. Don't worry, the M line has not been killed off! LocalHero1953 Posted December 13, 2016 Share #9 Posted December 13, 2016 Yes, this is the announcement of a "milestone" scheduled for January 17. The M has been discontinued in favour of the Sofort.
jmahto Posted December 13, 2016 Share #10 Posted December 13, 2016 Yes, this is the announcement scheduled for January 17. The M has been discontinued in favour of the Sofort. Will Sofort be priced along the lines of previous Ms? I don't want to buy a cheap product.
pico Posted December 13, 2016 Share #11 Posted December 13, 2016 The so-called German site is not the root. The site is distributed. Things go wrong. .

jto555 Posted December 14, 2016 Share #13 Posted December 14, 2016 The site seems to be back up and running now. Reports of the death of the M seem to be premature.
jmahto Posted December 14, 2016 Share #14 Posted December 14, 2016 Not so fast... just got off the phone speaking to Leica USA repair dept. My M240 is with them for last three months. They are refusing to give me my camera back. Offering two Soforts in exchange. I also heard in the background Leica folks talking about remote deactivating all M cameras on 17th January. What do I do? (Note: For someone taking above seriously, the best I can offer is )

The site is hosted at claranet and they even have a Leica "case study" page https://www.claranet.de/case-studies/leica
