Money put into the repair & upkeep of a film camera is not the "use value over time & then throw it away" of a digital camera. As long as there still is film & processing. And possibly longer. 250swb Posted November 20, 2016 Share #12 Posted November 20, 2016 A analogy from my experience would be if Leica repair something you get back a rep-mobile level BMW, but if Malcolm Taylor repairs something you get back a Rolls Royce. What that means in practice is that Leica do the work asked of them and can perfectly well do a standard CLA, Taylor on the other hand has an eye for detail and the desire and ability to build it better than new.
