The M10-R has it's sensor recording in color, and so called Bayer filter (mosaic of Red, Green, Blue) so recordings in color only with possibility to show in monochrom jpg. M10 Monochrom lacks the Bayer filter on it's sensor so only recording files are monochrom and never would show colors. 1

The_darter87 Posted September 7, 2021 Share #1827 Posted September 7, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Arrived this afternoon! This thing shoots so well in Monochrome. really sharp in the middle, and soft around the edges, makes u want to shoot like an analog and not edit it after. the weight helps a lot of you want something refreshing. Just wondering - is this readily available in stores ? m10r 28 summaron. Welcome, dear visitor! Composition on many many levels with the center tall background sky scraper rising up in the background to tower over the single solitary person, lighting, contrast, moment in time with "one" person perfectly captured, then the icing on the cake being this one image could well portray the past years lockdown for so many on this planet. Just an absolutely superb image on so many levels and measures. Someone in a place of power please contribute this forward to receive the awards it deserves. We ended up having a 40"X60" professionally developed blown up and dry mounted copy for our living room of this amazing photograph, and to us and all of our friends it literally is one of the most substantive and artistic photographs we have ever seen. The balance from side to side, the single man crossing the sidewalk "right in the middle" of the sky scrapers rising up behind him, along with the sidewalks framing him equals an image that is just stunning. To us this is a one in many a thousands of photographs. I have over 300,000 film negatives and some I am honestly quite proud, of but this photograph ranks in that one of a few in a lifetime, I just wish I had taken the picture.

fotografr Posted October 20, 2021 Share #1835 Posted October 20, 2021 (edited) I was asked by a non-profit neighborhood center which has just undergone major renovation to photograph some of the rooms for their website. I've never been into super wides, so my widest lens for the interiors was just the 28 Summaron. The solution for showing as much interior as possible without getting dramatic distortion was to shoot a series of verticals and stitch them with Photomerge. I was very happy with the result. Below is the standard 28mm view and the pano which was stitched from four vertical frames. M10R (ISO 3200), 28 summaron Welcome, dear visitor!
