I think, I would print it BIG and enjoy looking at it perhaps while listening to Debussy Images by the fabulous ABM.
Dao De Leitz Posted July 2, 2021 Share #1783 Posted July 2, 2021 @e1k3 ... Thanks for the comment, it appears fairytale-like, fantastic to me as well, I think. However, the direct surround of the image is also left natural. Welcome, dear visitor! a.noctilux Posted July 14, 2021 Share #1793 Posted July 14, 2021 This lens has the 'power' for not interfere with good enough sharpness/contrast, here at f/5.6 on M-D (typ 262), so no way to control the rendering in the field ! Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! as with film, I set carefully the focus distance, when seen later the picture, I was pleased that the sharpness/contrast was there and 'enough'
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! as with film, I set carefully the focus distance, when seen later the picture, I was pleased that the sharpness/contrast was there and 'enough' ' data-webShareUrl='https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/265598-leica-summaron-28-image-thread/?do=findComment&comment=4238041'>

A poorly exposed picture? A blurred one? A picture that looks like one of those grainy film pictures? An unsharp picture? What I've understood, however, is that this is a Leica user problem only. Never heard about a Nikon or Canon or any other camera user looking for this "vintage look". I have sometimes pictures coming out with a vintage look, but generally that's because I missed them. The Summaron-M 28 lens has a very vintage look (the lens itself) but renders beautiful pictures and that's what i look for in a lens. Digital Leica cameras are computers, even if they are M cameras, and people that buy them want no grain at 15.000 ISO, not some silly vintage look. How can you have a vintage look picture on a camera that can shoot a sharp picture at 15.000 ISO? There are plenty of applications that turn your sharp, smooth, very well exposed picture in a grainy, dull, unsharp vintage looking picture. Should I need to see some vintage look, I'd take an old film camera. Or I look at myself in the mirror. 2
