I'm talking about the in-camera firmware profile here ! Manuel on 28 summicron setting.
Advertisement Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Hi Ted Lemon, Take a look here Leica Summaron-28 -image thread. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ianman Posted November 1, 2016 Share #362 Posted November 1, 2016 Manuel on 28 summicron setting. Somebody in an earlier post sent a shot of this lens listed in the manual list. Can you confirm this ? I think he said it was a the very bottom of the list. Thanks !!
lct Posted November 1, 2016 Share #363 Posted November 1, 2016 All M240 users can confirm this if they have the latest firmware.
Ted Lemon Posted November 1, 2016 Share #364 Posted November 1, 2016 sorry yes you are right just checked 240 and it is on bottom of list.
Ted Lemon Posted November 1, 2016 Share #365 Posted November 1, 2016 Doesn't yet appear to have profile... https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html#Leica FYI for Mac users, LR6.7 (current standalone version) requires 10.10 (Sierra) or later. Jeff Slightly related but if you go to Sierra and are using the Epson R3000 then no new Epson driver at this time for that config. Lots have found this out the hard way. luigi bertolotti Posted November 2, 2016 Share #370 Posted November 2, 2016 Couldn't the use of an adapter and a 39mm filter produce some vignettings at 28mm? (sorry for late answer) : not in this case, or at least, not on my original Summaron 28 5,6 (the new, apparently, is identical also in position of the front lens inside the mount) : if you mount an E39 filter on the SOOGZ and fit the combo on the Summaron (with the usual clamping screw for A36 filters) everything is OK... no vignetting. A miller Posted November 2, 2016 Share #372 Posted November 2, 2016 ... is bayonet mount ONLY... That's such a shame! Given how cheap the M adapters are, I am puzzled at why Leica didn't make it in the original screw mount style and include the M adapter with the lens. Too bad for the buyers of the new lens.... And another reason to shop around for an original version....

pedaes Posted November 7, 2016 Share #374 Posted November 7, 2016 My copy arrived last week, and today first chance to try it on a walk. I will probably have to put in seperate posts, and these are just snaps to show some of the 'character'. All at 5.6 with no hood on M(240), with no lens correction. Welcome, dear visitor! Paulus Posted November 7, 2016 Share #380 Posted November 7, 2016 Enjoy your lens Pedaes. The moment I had it in my hand, I spontaiously got an overwelming lust to buy it. It's a marvelous built lens.
