Your picture of the running child is charming. "The water is so cold!" The red jacket balanced by the child's shadow makes a slightly unusual, but striking, composition; and the delicate blues are lovely.

 

It would be interesting to know what camera, (film), and lens combination you used.

Thanks for your kind comments. The image was taken with the Leica Q with its gorgeous 28mm lens. Aperture Priority, 1/800th-second at f/8, ISO 100, centre-weighted metering.

 

The red jacket does catch the eye and it can be a distraction sometimes - but it's my son's football team strip, so getting him to wear something 'calmer' is impossible :-)
