Here's a few more. Glass Beach is the closest beach to my house. Hidden behind fuel storage tanks and a power plant, it is the back end of Port Allen. It once was a trash dump. Over the years the old bottles were ground up in the surf and the black sand was covered in blue, green and amber shards.

Advertisement (gone after registration)

This one is from Poipu Beach. It was taken last year when several hurricanes raced up the island chain. These old girls tried to get in one last swim in the baby pool. A hurricane is just offshore. Monochrom with 50 cron.

I'm glad someone started this thread. We have only one main road on Kauai but lots of little beaches. Some are hard to find while others are littered with tourists. Beach photography is my street photography.

Here's one last beach tourist shot - for today anyway. K30 is an old friend. She's pregnant in this shot. Today her pup is 3 months old. S2 with 70 Summarit.
