Water drop on a Pine needle. I was thinking "What would Demitris do?" the entire time I was trying to capture this image. He sets such a standard for all of us. 1/250, f/2.8, ISO 2000.

always daunting to post the same day Dimitris does, but this is one of my new begonias I grew from a tubular. Hoping to keep it over the winter indoors, and, if it works, will be sending for more exotic (read: expensive) ones.

Bags27,

The key to overwintering tuberous begonias is bulb preparation, storage, temperature, and humidity.  Here is one site - https://dengarden.com/gardening/Tuberous-Begonias-How-To-Store-For-The-Winter-and-Restart-In-The-Spring

May the flower Gods be with you.

Thanks so much, traveler. That sounds like the plan. just get them out before the first frost, I guess. My first love is roses, but we don't get enough sun to have many of them, and I'm finally reconciled. OTOH, we have large porches in mixed light, so I'm hoping to sublimate my rose lust with begonia lust. thanks again!

Fantastic colours and light Ken.

I have been working too for the last month on a "Dahlias on black" project, maybe post some photos this weekend. I have been really captivated by the beauty of these flowers to the point of obsession!! There is so much beauty that goes unnoticed around us!!
