jaapv Posted February 15, 2016 Share #10 Posted February 15, 2016 Yes, occasionally, when on holiday - it is perfect to supplement my wife's video camera with long lenses or macro shots. Additionally, when using the camera as a travel camera (which is one of the legitimate uses of an M I'd say) it can happen that one comes across a situation that is more suited to a small video clip than to still photography. Also practical for reportage and corporate photography to be able to get a "talking head" in the material without having to carry additional video gear. In our market (Washington, D.C), believe there is more work for video than stills. Guest Posted February 15, 2016 Share #15 Posted February 15, 2016 Yes, I once shot some footage opportunistically and the clip proved to be useful as B roll in a short dramatic film, this was the only time I've used the M's video..........But I still do not consider this to be a desirable feature to have in a M. bocaburger Posted February 15, 2016 Share #18 Posted February 15, 2016 No. I can hand-hold the M well even at slow speeds for still photography, but lacking image stabilization I would need a tripod to shoot video that wouldn't make viewers seasick.
