I have a new documentary up on Social Documentary Network.   It's on the widows and orphans of Ixtauhuacan, Guatemala.  All Leica, almost all M6, many with Noctilux, almost all Kodachrome but a few E-6, too:

Kodachrome? How, where? Who's got some?

+1 on the portrait. It's lovely. The vivid colours grab you, but those eyes just reel you in. If that's a bit of a smile she attempting, it's not masking her apparent sadness.

Kodachrome scan from 1989.  I used Kodachrome until Kodak turned the processing over to Qualex and they ruined it.  Then I switched to E-6 that I could develop myself.  Those old Kodachrome colors still hold up beautifully, though!

Here is the same girl one year later with E-6, 1000 ISO film.  Also Leica M6, Noctilux.
