allamande Posted January 3, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 3, 2016 Perfect timing, framing, exposure, etc. A terrifically pleasant image. I like the sun reflection off the cab too. Ece

Iduna Posted January 5, 2016 Share #7 Posted January 5, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Adam, delightful image in timing and using the light effects . MarkP Posted January 5, 2016 Share #8 Posted January 5, 2016 I too love your NYC LSS (long shadow silhouette) photos.
Steve Ricoh Posted January 5, 2016 Share #9 Posted January 5, 2016 Nice capture, Adam, but dare I say, it would be better still if the full shadow of the man had been captured, and if slightly more 'air' between the rhs of his head and the building on the right. But I understand this is 'street' and as such can't be perfect in all departments.
A miller Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted January 6, 2016 Thank you, RSolomon, Iduna, Mark and Steve. Steve - All points well taken. A couple of my recent silhouettes from past weeks reminded me of this shot, which I took a little over a year ago and didn't think much of it and put it in my "leftover" folder in Lightroom. It didn't sufficiently draw me. So I sat on it for over a year and every now and again came back to it and started to like it a little.

A miller Posted February 5, 2016 Author Share #16 Posted February 5, 2016 Can't add to what already has been said. Hi Hank - great to hear from you. Have you moved? It seems like you are no longer in the Far East and are spending your time in windy Chicago. True? If so, what bet did you lose?? It is a pleasure to see you back on the forum...

Hank Taylor Posted February 9, 2016 Share #20 Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) Thanks Adam, yes got back last January and now living in Rancho Santa Margarita. What a surprise to found out it's not easy photographing children like I was able to do in the Philippines . I got stopped and was almost accused of being a molester with his camera Hank Welcome, dear visitor!
