How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

I have used the SL more in the last weeks and like it better and better. Also the 90-280 while being big is very flexible and I am impressed by the IQ.

Also a very good keeper rate in regards of Focus (not only for still).

Picture taken during a video installation projected onto The Deep, for Hull City of Culture 2017, celebrating the city's long history as a place of welcome and hospitality for migrants. These are amazing. Are they full-frame or cropped? I can't believe that huge telephoto lens can focus this closely and capture such sharp macro shots. 2 great lenses in one, it seems...

The butterflies all have a little cropping to improve composition, but here are the amounts

A selection from a trip over the last few days ..... all with the 24-90 or the WATE. Took the SL 50/1.4 but hardly used it.

 

I think Leica made a terrible mistake releasing the 24-90 first ...... it really makes all the proposed prime lenses in this range redundant ...... :huh:
