Of about half a dozen Collared Kingfishers in the area, this is the only one who lets me get closer than fifteen meters . . .  😓

SL with Lumix 70-200mm f/4 + DMW-STC14 . . . 

First quick outing with the 1.4X . . . ecstatic to see how good it is, disappointed (in the 2X) to see that the lens with the 1.4x actually renders more fine detail at 280mm than with the 2X at 400mm.  At first glance it looks as good at 280mm f/5.6 as **gasp** the SL 90-280mm at 280mm f/5.6, and with the same aesthetic.

So, a thing happened. The last thing I did was look through the vintage lens on SL thread and all will power was gone. Not using any real vintage glass yet, but it turns out the jump to a M in the past was indeed a slippery slope.  I usually struggled with the Summarit 75/2.5 on the M. Not so much on the SL.

2 macros of a really  tiny blue flower - magnification of first app. 2,5 :1 - it is a crop - of second higher. With SL 2 and Canon Macro 180 mm plus Kenko extender 1, 4.
