How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

I really enjoy it so far, only had it for a weekend.

Its got a nice balance on SL size/weight wise.

Good focus throw distance, smooth mechanics.

It’s a fast lens but it’s also sharp.

Doesn’t seem to have the weird bokeh or aberations you usually see in old or cheap fast glass.

I took the past few hours to see how the SL and AP 50mm Summicron-M f/2 handled in moderate light.  I will repeat tonight in more dimply lit situations.  For the most part, I'm pleased, but I definitely have together accustomed to the camera.  I initially set the ISO to 6400 but then backed it down to 3200.  I pretty much kept the lens wide open, except for the photo of the chandelier where I wanted a little more DOF.  I am still playing with the idea of swapping the APO for the Summilux SL 1.4 or a Noctilux 0.95 but will need to do more low light shooting to decide if that's the right move.  Forgive me for attaching one photo per post, I don't know how to externally link from the forum.
