How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Do you feel that the 102MP vs 37.5MP makes a noticeable difference? Someone with an S3 and a GFX100S might feel that the gains aren’t so great. 
 

I certainly appreciate the weight difference between my S2 and GFX100S. Adding the adapter to the 30-90mm makes for a bit of a beast, though!

Excellent picture.  One question though, did you use the Elpro-S 180 on the APO-Macro-Summarit-S 120mm ?  According to David Farkas in his Definitive Guide to S Lenses this does not work:

And while it will physically fit on the same 72mm filter thread, the ELPRO-S is ineffective on the 120mm APO-Macro. We tried.

I used the Elpro that is dedicated for the 100-APO-Macro-R with a step-up adapter ring that I purchased from Leica Miami at least 10 years ago.

That’s interesting. I have that Elpro version also. Definitely going to try it.

Is it a single adapter ring?

I am able to combine step rings 72-67, 67-62, 62-60 and attach them but a single ring would move the elpro closer to the front element and give greater magnification, I think.
