How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Dust from agriculture land in Eastern Europe swept over parts of Scandinavia last weekend, in this case from an early morning in western Norway. The boat is a ferry, crossing the fjord. S3+S45.

A (very) rare guest at 60 degrees N; the mandarin duck (Aix galericulata). S3 + Leica 280mm APO-R w/1.4 APO-R Extender (with the lei-ko adapter; https://lei-ko.de). ISO800, 1/90 s, handheld.

Playing with S3 + Leica 280mm APO-R w/1.4 APO-R Extender (with the lei-ko adapter; https://lei-ko.de). All handheld at about 1/100 sec, which is far from safe for a 400mm lens on the S-body, but luck is a part of the game...

Nice, this is a sort of anachronism; this oldtimer could in its time of production hardly have been photographed so clean and sharp. Or?... 8x10 contact printed on Portriga Rapid?

Here are two images shot on a Leica S007 and a 210mm Zeiss f/4 Sonnar with the Zeiss Mutar 1.4X extender and the Contax 645 adapter. The extreme compression of the long focal length is what makes these interesting. The images are quite sharp at f/8 and 1/1000 second exposure.
